OVERVIEW

 

This full-day training brings you up close and personal with two of the Pacific Northwest's most successful grant writers plus a panel of past and present trustees from Meyer Memorial Trust, The Oregon Community Foundation, and the James F. & Marion L. Miller Foundation.

 

You'll also see examples of successful proposals and receive direct feedback about your own proposal while working in small groups with program officers from the following foundations:

 

  • Collins Foundation

  • Spirit Mountain Community Fund

  • The Oregon Community Foundation

  • James F. and Marion L. Miller Foundation

  • The Standard Charitable Foundation

  • Jackson Foundation

  • Portland General Electric Foundation

 

LUNCH BREAK

 

A lunch break will take place from approximately 12:30 - 1:30 PM. A tasty lunchbox from Tamale Boy may be ordered in advance. Alternatively, you may bring your own lunch or visit a neighborhood eatery.

UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY

 

From 3:30 - 4:00 PM, following the program and panel discussion, event attendees will have a special chance to speak personally with the presenters and foundation trustees. Complimentary beer, coffee and water will be available.
